Well, it's 1872 actually, but never mind. 6-2 was a good result for us today, we just need to capitalise on it and maintain it, which we've struggled at away this season. I really don't have two <insert whatever word you like here> to give about who cares or not, at the end of the day it doesn't really matter, we won and that sees me and many thousands of other Gers happy, thanks.

TBH I would think Linfield, and certain sects of Chelsea, Millwall and HSV still care, or do they not count as anybody to you?

We will, don't you worry about that. Whether or not we make it back up to the SPL though I don't really mind, it's actually rather fun in the lower leagues, and the SPL / SFA have made their bed and most lie in it (sorry Killie!). Didn't one of Kilmarnock's senior backroom staff reckon they needed to ship 1,000 more season tickets this year to cover the costs lost of not playing Rangers 3 / 4 times?

Today, he elbows/forearm smashes/clothlines Newey and gets nothing. Hopefully the ref missed it, so the FA can charge him with violent conduct and give him a 3 game ban....

I just recall that one bid as being a bit odd, and possibly a bit desperate; I also seem to recall it being a transfer between Coventry and West Brom. Then after his sentence he joined Notts County and single-handedly gave them a win over Southend in his first game (I forget the scoreline, but 3-0 comes to mind). I have often wondered what happened to him since then, but have never changed stance on not liking him in general, along with numerous other bad-boys of the sport.

Some people argue that he served five years and has done his time. Well compare the consequences to that of the Merseyrail guard who will now probably have no decent career prospect in front of him. (No, I don't want to start a discussion about his case again.)

Only in football ... (and for that I have some (not too much mind ) ill-feeling towards Notts Clownty who kept him in a life-style many people could only dream of).
