Luton have history as well you know, just nothing recent It's just not as substantial as Leeds or especially Millwall. Matt's point is also true.

So since he technically scored a hat-trick does that mean he gets the match ball

We were lucky today, I've not seen anything other than the result and half a page of the post match report on the BBC. When I had found out that Milner got sent off I thought "here we bleedin' go again" but according to the report he was last man and fouled, ergo straight red - though could we please see this punishment happening more often and equally throughout the league, it's one of them that some refs let slip all too often...

As for Norwich, excellent - I should point out that I'm now in my 3rd season of Football Manager with Norwich and after winning the Premier League last season (as well as the FA, League Cup & Europa League) we are on for the Champions League this time around, The Arsenal result shows.... er actually not sure where I'm going here...

Oh and say what you want about Dzeko but despite what a fair number of United supporting colleagues said, he actually has proved his weight in gold. When it comes to him and Aguero, they both score when the chips are down and that is (if you pardon the pun & blatant City supporting tosh) "what wins leagues". Besides between the two of them they have less back trouble than a certain Van Persie who is still suffering severe back pain from carrying Arsenal last season and the filth this

With less then a quarter of the season gone we already know that Arsenal will not be challenging for the trophy, another inept performance with yet another sloppy goal conceded. That so called defence of Arsenal is getting as leaky as the one as last season, true we conceded less but we have conceded at least one goal in every game since the press reported how good it was after three games.

They find themselves already at this very early stage 10 points behind the Chavs at the top. I guess that i will look forward to the new season in 2013-14 with the same optimism as this one and then ramble on about how bad they are after 9 matches and being 10 points behind the league leaders.

I wish that my "favoured" non-league side, Hyde, who are now in the Conference Premiership had not surrendered their lead in the 88th minute in the 1-1 home FA Cup match to Harrogate Town from the Conference North, which means a replay on Tuesday back at their ground. We had no such problems when we played them last season.

Oldham Athletic away to the winners of that tie would definitely be one I would be hoping for when the draw is made on Sunday.

We are in the first round of the FA Cup for only the second time in 61 years, the first time for 23. A truly appalling record for a club who've been at step two for most of that time. I think we probably have the worst cup record for a club as high up as we are in the country.

Milner took red for the team. The West Brom player was past last man one on one with Hart, and Milner took him from behind. Gave City the time to get all their players back for the free kick.

Dzeko is like a really really good version of Lee Chapman. He doesn't look stylish but they are brilliant at finding space and being in the right place at the right time. I can remember Chapman scoring crucial goals for Leeds at crucial times and Dzeko is very much like that.

I like Man City's balance up front. Balotelli will do amazing things at times and Tevez has the ability to take control of games but in Dzeko and Aguero they have consistent, reliable goal scorers who score at important times in big games.

I watched both of today's game today. Gotta say, I thought Stephen Pienaar was unlucky to be sent off for Everton, if yellow cards are being given for that then football is in a poor way.

Also, i'm not sure that Tiote's challenge should have seen red. Many will probably disagree but to me it just wasn't that bad.

Next weekends live games look brilliant.

I'm somewhat disappointed that I couldn't afford to pay the coach fare to Boston for it (TASC wanted 37 quid for the fare). From what I've heard, at least one of your red cards was a bit unfair (the one given to Spencer Weir-Daley), so the 3-1 scoreline probably would have been somewhat different if you still had 10 men for the last half hour.

Still, this is the best FA Cup run Alty have had in a good while. I can't see us doing much at the Pirelli Stadium though

The coach company that Alty use decided to charge a fortune because they decided that we gave too little notice.

Perhaps the violence perpetrated by the Leeds United supporter was a clear case of a violent unprovoked attack in front of many thousands more witnesses than in most other cases of such violence that would occur on the streets and is one that a message of swift and summary justice can be seen to take place. Even a barrister of some note would find it very difficult to put a strong case for the defence in such a case as this.

The John Terry case was one that required much case preparation for both the defence and the prosecution teams required in that case. Were not witness statements said to have been essential with relation to this case and time was needed to enable these to take place, as part of the case preparation ?

The two cases do cover two distinctly different breaches of the law.

With regard to the Truro City affair, which was "fluid" for a period of time, the cancelled Conference South away match at Staines from last Saturday has been rearranged for tonight at Staines. I suppose that the wheels needed to start turning all over again.
