I wouldn't put off championship clubs like that, there are some decent teams in there...

Any news on Steve Bruce as a possible candidate for the Hull job? I mean, Steve Bruce is a better manager than a championship club, I'm surprised he wasn't seriously considered for Swansea, or (where he was an ex-player), the Norwich job
His dull tactics wouldnt be welcome at Swansea.
Perhaps Birmingham will end up with a second tier manager befitting their status as a second tier club and a second city club![]()
Damn, I was waiting for McLeish to end up at West Brom, working his way around the midlands haha
Have just seen a report on Yahoo Sports web site that Rangers will need permission from all the clubs in the Scottish Premier League to play matches and a three-year European football ban will be imposed as HMRC have rejected the submission of a Company Voluntary Arrangement.
Interesting times lie ahead...
Why would you wish that cretin on West Brom?!

Not quite right from Yahoo.
A NewCo Rangers being voted back into the SPL needs to win at least an 8-4 majority vote from the SPL shareholders, each SPL side has a share.
Rangers themselves get a vote so need another 7 sides to vote in their favour.

Which will happen as "turkeys don't vote for christmas"
Without Rangers the already pitiful Sky Contract will be eviscerated plus Rangers away support bolsters the coffers of the others![]()
The Yahoo report made reference to....
1)....HMRC rejecting the idea of a Company Voluntary Arrangement
3)...The three-year ban on participation in European football.
Will the matter that you refer to have any bearing whatsoever on these two points ?
But with ESPN today losing their EPL rights they might by happy to pay for SPL football to keep live UK league football on their channel.
Is there any truth in the rumour going around that since ESPN losing their rights, that BT will be launching a dedicated football channel using their two successful tenders for these contracts ?

Harry's gone!
I feel a few of Spurs best players will possibly leave as well.

I think Levy will regret this (and I would hope this doesn't constitute a "sacking"). But why on Earth would Moyes leave Everton for Spurs? There really isn't much between the two, and he's managed so much at Goodison. Why leave such a stable and happy position for White Hart Lane?
I wish 'Arry all the best in finding a new post. I think he could certainly do worse than Swansea, that much is for certain.

I heard he's going to a bigger club. Hearts Fc, they need a manager.

Do you honestly believe that whoever takes over from the Great Troll will be allowed to do anything that might tarnish his reputation (like carrying on being successful)? Look at the trouble they had finding successors to Matt Busby, with Bobby Charlton as his "ambassador"..... I like him as a manager and the teams at the top (Man Utd excepted) look set to follow the England job as poisoned chalices.
