Meanwhile, I have found an interesting piece from August on the BBC in which their "experts" predicted the top four. At the start of the season I would have had United edging City to the title, with Chelsea 3rd (but some way down) and Arsenal and Spurs fighting for 4th. It would have been a damn sight better than what the "experts" believed!

I'm hoping Fergie spends in the summer. A new attacking midfielder, striker (maybe) and a bit of competition/ back up for Evra at left back who just doesn't seem the same player as a couple of years back would be welcome. Vidic and Fletcher (hopefully) coming back from injury will also be important, as well as De Gea now being more settled in, with no major mistakes since Xmas.

The German cup final did not go the way that many "pundits" forcasted, as despite goals by Robben and Ribery, Borussia Dortmund beat Bayern Munich 5-2 at the Olympiastadion in front of a crowd figure stated to be over 75,000. The star man on the day was Robert Lewondowski, who completed his hat-trick shortly before the end of the game.

Perhaps the Champions League final against Chelsea may have been in the minds of the Bayern Munich players, wishing to avoid injuries that would keep them out of that match.

On a more serious note, I'm not sure who I want to win. It would be nice to see what my father and brother make of losing out to City (), and it would finally give us a 5th different winner of the Prem, but City have blown the idea of buying the title out of the winner. Overall, I think I would want Rudolph to win, but not by much - that seems unlikely though.

For me, the real winner will be whoever of Arsenal, Newcastle and Spurs finishes 3rd.

I thought it was supposed to be people in Cornwall or Surrey! Still, anything's better than supporting the club half of Southend support (West Sham ).

It's like Liverpool. No-one in the city supports the losers in red because they support the real club on the other side of Stanley Park Too bad that means most people I know who support a Liverpool club support Liverpool themselves leaving me on my own in supporting Everton...

Primer league title has been very similar to 2nd spot in league 1, The united team of each city looked certain to beat their rivals to the prize with the others (wednesday and city) being written off, but all of a sudden with 2/3 games left the tides have turned and in a big surprise the Utd teams have messed it up and handed the prize to their rivals.

For that reason i hope city win. United dont deserve to win it for how they have performed since going 8 points clear.
