I don't even know who Livorno are, but RIP.

A good game from Wolves relatively speaking. No-score draw with Sunderland, with a disallowed goal to Wolves that would have won it in the last ten minutes.

Not really good enough. For three weeks in a row we've had perfect results from the rest of the teams, just not won to recoup the points.

Swansea 3 - 0 Blackburn - good for our goal difference which is shocking.
West Brom 1 - 0 QPR - good for Wolves, and a nice needed result for WBA.

Then there's Man City 6 - 1 Norwich. City's next match, and the one that will get them top if United lose to Villa, is... Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolves have a history of obliterating big teams when they're least expecting it. Last season we beat Man Utd denying them something like 30 games without a loss, on the match they needed.

Who knows, we could do it...

I wouldn't mind Villa winning; Wolves can't leapfrog them now. Which means, if Villa go down, Wolves go down.

Bolton have a game in hand, but fortunately perhaps it's against Tottenham.

If we imagine a situation where teams always beat the teams below them in the table, Wolves are guaranteed to be down. But let's say that happens but Wolves win ever game from now until the end of the season...

This was in a Serie B match. The Italian Football Federation have immediately cancelled all games this weekend as a token of regret from all the Serie A and B clubs.

Very sad news indeed.

With regard to Tipton Town FC, they still are in the Midland Football Alliance, Division One and are ninth in the league with 58 points. They actually have identical home and away records of Won 8/Drew 5/Lost 6

They did not play as well as was expected today and lost 2-0 away to Heath Hayes, a team six places below them in the league, in front of a mind-boggling attendance of 65, but the fact that they have reached the final of the Polymac Services League Cup seems to have made the players worried about being injured and missing playing in the final...human nature being what it is.

Their best performance in the league this season was the 6-0 away win at Willenhall Town, who are the "Fort William" equivalent of the teams in this league..:roll:

Reading on sky sports news this morning, seems like the poor guy had to put up with a lot during his life, with the death of both of his parents whilst in his teens, the suicide of his brother. Sad indeed RIP

Only the second time in 75 Premier League matches that Wolves have been involved in a goalless draw. I think that the plan is to win every game from now on with a miraculous climax v. Wigan to confirm survival. It'll be a good trick if they can do it.

How are the Dudley teams doing recently?

I was suprised to learn that Dudley Town FC are one of the longest established non-league teams, being formed in 1888. They play in the West Midlands (Regional) League..Premier Division and lie in the top half of the table in 7th place on 59 points. They drew 2-2 at home to Stafford Town on Saturday.

Their best win in the long history of the club occured this season on 19th October 2011, in a round of the J. W. Hunt Cup at home to Wigton....they won 12 - 3 hock:

No, Murrayfield despite being in Edinburgh, being a far better stadium and being far larger is a big no, it's a 10 minute walk from Tynecastle, besides Hampden is the National stadium, and cup finals no matter who contests said final it is always held at Hampden (apart from when it was being redone for all seater after the Taylor report)

I'm going to the final for the Green and White half of the city. Best chance Hibs have had for a long time to end that 110 year hoodoo. If it is a victory for Hibs then no longer will our Pink neighbours be able to taunt us over our lack of success in the cup.

It's going to be a nightmare getting fans over there, especially on trains. You have to control them, keep away from each other, get them from Glasgow to the ground, then on the way out do all the same, where it is a lot more likely to be heated. Don't forget also controlling those getting there by other means, unless you make travel compulsory via club coaches, which will cost an arm and a leg (as will the policing getting over there). Holding it in Edinburgh would make things so much more easier, cheaper and clearer.

I do hope Hibs don't get distracted by this upcoming final, it would be tragic for them to get relegated in the process

Not that I was expecting much from this game, we could never beat Man Utd and Halsey with kids yet at 1-0 there is always a chance. Thankfully results elsewhere went our way yesterday. If anyone wants a potshot at Fergie I'll look the other way
