Manager change at Oldham as Robinson have been sacked and John Sheridan have returned to manager Oldham for third time.

Feel sorry for Robinson as when he become Oldham manager back in July he only had five players to work with and have to signs players within four weeks of new season but with only three wins in league and only score 12 goals this season you can see why he got sacked.

As for Sheridan I'm unsure about this appointment as knowing he keeps us in League one last season he did left us in summer so would he do same thing at end of this season special if clubs with more Money come in for him.

Depent how you look at it as we were eight points draft last season where we only three points draft of Shrewsbury (who sit in 20th) and have two games in hand over them. Only problem this season is that Oldham are current in transfer embargo which need to be lifted before we sign any new players so if that get lifted soon Oldham may be in better position then last season.

The man who saved my club in 1988. Without him I dread to think where we would be now.
A gentleman and a proper "football man" I have yet to hear a bad word said about him.

A true Aston Villa legend and a great loss to the football world. A man who always showed great dignity despite some horrendous treatment by the very newspapers that will be praising him tomorrow.

Saturday will see a fixture between two clubs he had served wth distinction. It will be a very sad occasion.

Winchester City notched up another three points in a hard-fought victory in Wiltshire. It was 2-1.... Couldn't make it as I was back home for the weekeend but from what I've heard it was a much closer match than it should have been given the amount of divisions apart the 2 teams are.

I really enjoyed yesterday's game, top football from both sides. I felt Huddersfield were the better team in the first half, but we were the better team in the second half. It took an outstanding goal from Ross Wallace to break the stalemate, with Fernando Forestieri scoring from close range late on. I was really impressed with new signing Sam Winnall too, hopefully he can continue his goalscoring record at Barnsley for The Owls.

I was really pleased to see how well Danny Ward played, the signs are certainly looking good for his future at Liverpool. I've always rated him, so I'm glad to see him getting some playing time for a decent side.

Both are quality young keepers but Coleman seems to command his area with a bit more confidence. Besides, he's actually our player rather than a loanee. Congratulations on becoming the first (and hopefully only) side to do the double over us this season!

Yeah, I do see what you mean there. Hopefully Ward can learn from the senior goalkeepers when he returns to Liverpool at the end of his loan, because he does have a lot of promise in comparison to other reserve goalkeepers we've had in the past. Certainly enough to push Karius for the No. 1 spot in the next couple of years, I think.

Thanks, it was our first double of the season, hopefully we can get a few more now. Hopefully you can stay in the top 6 for the rest of the season, it's been nice to see some different contenders for promotion to the Premier League over the past couple of seasons.
