They had a blatant one turned down at Old Trafford as well. Add to that Wayne Rooney's wrestling of Harry Kane the previous week together with all the recent shockers they've had it must add up to several extra points now. It's a scary situation.

My eldest daughters boyfriend is a Leeds fan so I know what you are going through at the moment. And yet we went to Elland Road a few weeks a go and you played so well and deserved to win.

Peter bloody Ridsdale eh? A good, decent owner and you would be in the top ten of the Premier League.

Sgt Wilko, those were the days. Gary Mac, Gary Speed, Tony Dorigo, Eric Cantona, Gordon Strachan, Rod Wallace, David Batty, Lee Chapman, big John Lukic in goal. League winners in 1991/1992, the last team to win the top flight with an English manager. Amazing that was over 20 years ago. I remember as a very young boy being stood on the Headrow in Leeds watching the team parading the trophy on the open top bus, everyone singing Marching On Together, the City was alive and I remember thinking to myself how lucky I was to be from Leeds and inherited this fantastic team that actually won major honours.

As bad as things are now, i'll take those memories to the grave. There are very few genuine fans that can they they've seen their team, their local team parading the highest honour in English domestic football. That will always stay with me.

Things now are very different, like you say the Ridsdale days have ruined the club, we have never recovered. He gambled and lost. The club has been passed around various owners that just want to strip the assets and sting the fans with stupidly expenses tickets.

I am quite cutting when it comes to our performances and I say it as I see it. It's a shame for Leeds to be in this state, although never a popular club Leeds were at one point a large, proud club that had lots of success. We are now a struggling Championship club with dwindling home crowds, we are were we deserve to be, we don't have a devine right to be in the Prem like some Leeds fans believe we do.

You will, of course remember that matches between Leeds United and Oldham Athletic that were played in days long now gone, which were usually quite exciting. You got the better of Oldham Athletic in a play-off match one season for promotion in a match for the position in which a Championship club no longer has to play that Oldham Athletic occupied that particular season.

Southport look like they were taking Derby back to they place but in 94th min Derby won penalty in which Martin score to end Southport hope, also unlucky to Blyth who were winning 2-0 at Half time but three goals in 15 mins ended Blyth cup run.
