Big night for football tonight as Oldham are playing Mansfield in FA Cup Second round replay were winner will be playing against Liverpool at Anfield in third round, I do believe Latics will win tonight but Mansfield will be hard team to beat knowing they only win once in 10 matches and they players and fans will be up for it and hopefully Latics players are up for it too.

Burton won 1-0 against Fleetwood mean they are playing Bournemouth away and Coventry score late goal to win 2-1 against Hartlepool and they go Barnsley away in third round.

Man City are through to SF of League Cup after they won 3-1.

^^ I getting mine before match on Saturday and Latics will be taking 6,000 fans with them knowing we only get half of that on normal league match, ticket price to me is cheap as is only £20 to £22 for Adults which I thought it be around £30 make but it is against League One club so Liverpool probably don't want they fans to put normal league price for cup game.

Mate I'll have to be honest and say I've been in neither. I normally have my pre and post match entertainment in The Park (The pub, not Stanley Park, ha ha) with occasional visits to other pubs for a bit of variety. As far as I am aware there isn't a massive difference but don't take my word for that.

Going back to what I was saying the other day, frustratingly enough there are no further sales for Chelsea away. They changed it to sold out after tickets went to people with 9 aways from last season, we have 8. Gah. Ha ha. It is suspected that remaining tickets have gone to corporates.

You are pot on that not all secondary sellers are charlatans, there are sadly a number that will sell tickets on at more than face value. I'm also not a fan of the club giving them away for free to people who sell them on even at less than face value.

Anyway, sounds like you got a result, hope you enjoy the game and the team gets a result as well.

Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay has been told by owner Vincent Tan to resign or he will be sacked.

In a letter emailed to Mackay on Monday, it is understood Tan listed in depth his grievances with the Scot.

Tan criticised 41-year-old Mackay at length in a range of areas, such as signings, transfer budgets, results on the pitch and style of play.

This Tan guy doesn't deserve to be in charge of a football club.

Ah no mate, I never use agencies. We basically have our fan cards and 2 season tickets from a mate who is temporarily living in the Antipodes. Everyone gets what tickets they can and if they can't make it they are passed to each other at face value home and away. It works pretty well but since we are having a good season the aways a seemingly hard to come by. Like I said my fan card has 8 away credits from last season, only 2 this season and we are about half way through. No chance of getting much at all away next season with less than about 8 credits. The problem being people who get them free and sell them on or people who get them and sell them at above the face value, while we are doing well people are willing to pay.

Regarding your trip, get an area C Saveaway like you said at South Parkway and if I was you I'd get an 86 to Lodge Lane or if there is one due a train to Edge Hill which is by where the 86 stops on Lodge Lane. From there get a 27 bus heading east or right as you leave the train or bus. It will drop you right outside the Kop end. Shouldn't normally take you more than an hour at the most from South Parkway, as I'm sure you know once you get on the 27 it slows down loads due to traffic near the ground.

When you leave the traffic will be carnage of course so I'd get whatever you can either to the city centre or a 26 heading the other way back to Edge Hill or the 86 bus route. Your Saveaway is fine on the Soccerbusses I think. I normally go for a couple of pints while the traffic dies down so am not sure.

Just one further bit of info, Lodge Lane when you get off the 86 (Or Tunnel Road as it is by Edge Hill) actually heads almost directly north, not east. The bus you need to catch still heads right though.

In the long drawn-out saga of Rangers, they now have had to postpone their AGM sheduled for 24th October as the Court of Session in Edinburgh has upheld a shareholder court application for changes to be made at board level of the club.

Me and a friend have started ground hopping in the North West area, on days where Alty are playing away and we can't feasibly get there, or where Alty aren't playing. Our first ground that we picked up, as noted in the signature, was Buxton's Silverlands, where we watched a 1-1 draw with Frickley Athletic. We will be trying to pick up all grounds in area, with a particular focus on the Manchester area (obviously ) from the North West Counties level upwards.

Oldham lost 2-0 to Colchester today which we were awful in first half and all in all Colchester probably dessert they win, we were better in second half but couldn't got ball into net but we did hit crossbar just before injured time which probably our best chance in game, Colchester haven't won away (before today) since opening season and only won twice in 20 matches (all competition) but it look like it was Oldham who had that stat and not Colchester.

Hyde done what they always done this season and lost.

Both Manchester clubs won today, Man City are now second in table and Liverpool are top of Premiership after they win against Cardiff but if Arsenal beat Chelsea on Monday night then Arsenal will go back to top of table.
