I wasn't aware that Tom Daley was even at Chelsea.
To single out Didier Drogba for simulation offences really is tiresome. It's rife across the game from the local pub league to Premier League.
One of the worst examples I saw from last season was Leon Osman. Mis-kicking the ball, scuffing the ground and going down without any contact from the defender tracking him. Successfully cons the referee and wins a penalty. Blatant cheating of the worst order. And who did the pundits on MoTD blame? The referee. No opprobrium heaped on a fellow professional. Of course not, all footballers know it goes on and most are happy to try and get away with it.
The sooner retrospective video evidence of simulation is used in top flight games to punish the perpetrators the sooner it can be eradicated.
There are some good proponents of cheating out there, but of course they never play for the club an individual supports. Any advantage gained by a player from your club cheating is justified in the eyes of that club's fans.
