Man United, by far. Rangers weren't expected to do well in Brugge, Kairat Almaty are third in their league and they're in the middle of the season, but there's no excuse for losing to Grimsby in that way.
Having said that, Paphos putting out Red Star Belgrade was a massive shock as well. They'd somehow managed to win 2-1 in Belgrade, they were 1-0 down in Paphos but managed to score in the 89th minute to put out Red Star. It's a hell of an achievement for a Cypriot side, and looking at the Champions League teams this year, there's plenty of interesting teams there alongside the big names.
I hate to say it, but I really think UEFA have struck gold with this format. There's so many interesting possible ties here, and many of the smaller teams can do damage at home against big name teams.

Stoke's exit from the Carabao Cup, on Tuesday evening, was pretty dismal. They may only be one division higher than their opponents, Bradford City, but losing 3-0 on home soil just isn't on - especially when you're topping the Championship. The performance on display was absolutely dire - one can only assume that the manager is focussed entirely on maintaining the current good form in the league.

Burnham 0-3 Jersey Bulls
An FA Cup First Qualifying Round game graced by a superb 50-yard goal from Rai dos Santos of Jersey. Burnham are a tier below Jersey but played some superb passing football and were unlucky to lose 3-0. I'm not normally in the business of being uncharitable but Jersey Bulls didn't seem like a very likeable team at all, and neither did the majority of the fans they brought along. While I'm being moody, I'm not sure it's entirely reasonable to pay as much for two tickets for Burnham as for a ticket in the away end at Craven Cottage, but I'm only complaining because I want to go again!

Quite. We were rank rotten and I could have had no complaint whatsoever had their goal stood. That it didn't is something I can only be grateful for.

They’ve suspended the VAR bloke, but that’s little help as it doesn’t ever give you the goal back.

Are James and Marcus Tavernier any relation to Simon Tavernier who was captain of Bradford (Park Avenue) when we restarted in the West Riding County Amateur League Division 3 in 1988/89? I believe both James and Marcus were born in Bradford and Leeds respectively.
Simon is 3rd from right in the front row. This photo was taken just before our 3-2 win at Pudsey Liberals on Feb 18th 1989. I was there. And we did printed programmes for home matches despite the very low level. Home games
were played at Scotchman Road now the home of Campion FC.

This keeps on happening terrible decisions VAR bloke or ref get suspended Webb apologies profusely, we will learn from this etc. Then it happens again and again.

The transfer window has now closed & Alexander Isak has got his move to Liverpool for £125 million. Newcastle have signed Yoanne Wissa from Brentford & Manchester United have signed goalkeeper Senne Lammens. After the weekend’s going’s on Nicolas Jackson has moved to Bayern Munich.
In other moves Marc Guehi’s proposed move to Liverpool collapsed after Crystal Palace were unable to sign adequate replacements. Antony has left Manchester United to go to Real Betis & Rasmus Holjund has moved to Napoli.
In other football news Erik Ten Hag has been sacked as Bayer Leverkusen manager after only 62 days in charge including one cup game & 2 league games.
