Loathsome?? I'm sure that everyone dislikes various things about MOST clubs XCD but thats just 'forcing your' bias opinion on persons who think different, your right to dislike for whatever reason, but IMHO it's 'OTT'

Seconded.
Sky's TV money can go sing dixie if it means doing without both sets of soap dodgers. There is a great deal of banter at the depot I work at where both halves argue for the moral high ground. I personally think they are just as bad as each other, and I'm thankful I support a FOOTBALL team that:
- pays its taxes and bills timely
- lives within its means
- owns a modern stadium and training complex
- has evolved from the religious nonsense of years gone by
If nothing else, it'll persuade fans to go back to actually watching games at the stadium.
A couple of years of "open season" for the title will only be beneficial.

Hibee? They've really disappointed me for years, could've been contenders in years gone by if they'd kept a hold of the best of their youngsters. This is what actually annoys me about Scottish football today, the lack of a challenge from anybody, even when we're mince. Believe it or not I quite like Hibs, even with the obvious hatred between us, had some great players and played some great football in semi-recent times. I agree though, maybe "open season" would be beneficial .

I think you'll be disappointed, but I can see where your coming from regardless . I do love everyone taking the moral high ground though as if their club and its fans are paragons of virtue.
That's probably the same opinion most of the footballing world would have regarding the english national team or any of the english club sides travelling in europe because of the violence amongst the fans.
and like you say I'm sure not everyone shares the same view but alot do.
The point I'm making is that its ridiculous to tar entire clubs or nations because of an undesirable element amongst the fans and whether you like it or not there are very few clubs where this is not the case including your own.

Dominating the first half, they go 2-0 up through Tomkins and Maynard, before Phillips pulls one back for Blackpool on the stroke of half-time.
Early in the second half, Robert Green is sent off, and with no 'keeper on the bench, on-loan Arsenal midfielder Henri Lansbury goes in goal.
Yet, with ten men and an outfield player between the sticks, not only do West Ham hold on, they score two more, and run out 4-1 winners.

Fleetwood Town did their goal difference no harm last night with their 6-2 win over Ebbsfleet United, which keeps them two points clear of Wrexham at the head of the Conference Premiership, but Wrexham do have a game in hand.
The crunch match looks like being Fleetwood Town v Wrexham on 10th April.

That is almost entirely in £100 chunks from fans. The business push has not yet started. That means the fans will have a substantial shareholding in the new company.

I was persuaded by two of my sons to watch the Manchester United v Ajax match last night(on television may I add) and felt so embarrassed by the complete lack of midfield control shown by the home side, coupled with very poor passing which gave Ajax the chance to easily intercept these "gifts" and pour forward wave after wave of attacks on a very poor Manchester United back-four defensive line.The first half was bad enough to watch, but the second-half was really shocking, even for a neutral like me.
Interesting to note that the winning goal came from a free-kick that followed a typical "Paul Scholes" foul tackle. He never learns from his mistakes where timing of tackles are involved.

A typical Paul Scholes tackle is usually a two footed lunge followed by him getting up and berating the ref with his vein bulging head.
But it's ok, it's only good old Scholesy and it wasn't his fault, we know he can't tackle and it's a right good laugh.

agreed. to their credit, ajax were good at moving the ball and their goal was superb (though there was a handball in the build-up). i felt they deserved to go through, even though their final ball and finishing was lacking.
what really annoyed me was the diving i saw, from both sides. there were some absolutely ridiculous falls and penalty appeals, and players rolling in 'agony' on the floor whilst peeking through their fingers to see what the ref is doing.
but sadly, you can't expect anything different. at least scholes makes it clear when he goes for a challenge - none of this stupid i-went-to-tackle-him-and-he-caught-me-and-now-i'm-in-agony-but-if-you-book-him-i-might-make-a-miraculous-recovery. (or oh-i-never-touched-him-despite-replays-showing-me-crunching-him)

Although i dont think the red card loving refs of today will see us ending each match with more than 9 players if we tackle like "psycho" used to.
My only concern is i dont feel he is quite experienced enough for England manager quite yet, maybe 3-4 years time i think he will be among the best candidates.
