One team in recent seasons has managed to get promoted at the first attempt following relegation from the Championship. Would anyone care to have a guess? :p

Talking about Preston though, it looks as though Paul Hayes will be leaving the club this summer. That will be a big loss, as he's a fantastic striker in League 1.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.......................... Arsenal

PREMIERSHIP CHAMPIONS................... Arsenal

F A CUP WINNERS............................ Arsenal

LEAGUE CUP WINNERS.......................Arsenal

Notice a pattern? :P

Oh i wished that was true, like you im a mad Gooner, even the League cup would do me. But with Nasri wanting to go to the Mancs (utd), Fab off to Barca and Wenger acting like he runs Fort Knox i wouldnt bet on us being in a relegation dogfight instead :(

I keep my fingers crossed for that to happen. :p

It will make the Premier***** a little more interesting

Things have never been the same for Arsenal since Vieira's winning penalty in the 2005 FA Cup.

Arsenal won't get anywhere near winning anything until either a.) Wenger goes, or b.) he spends some money. I'm sure he thinks it's his own money he's spending...

i'm not an arsenal fan but i can see that the team is obviously lacking experience...and have been since the days of vieira and gilberto silva

Damn how could I not remember their promotion?

JP Trophy: Carlisle United then

They always seem to be somewhere near the final.

Always near the final yet we've only won it twice! Watched them loose 2-1 to Swansea, then 4-1 to Southhampton but we finally won by beating Brentford 1-0 :D

I'm sure I have seen a similar thread somewhere but can't seem to find it for now. If anyone sees it, please let me know so that I can merge the two into one.

My predictions:

Premiership: Chelsea
Championship: Birmingham City
League 1: MK Dons
(I'm being a bit controversial here. I don't like them for the reason of "franchising", however none of the relegated sides fill me with optimism and Huddersfield seems to be having stage-fright. Karl Robinson's doing a good job there.)
League 2: Gillingham
Conference National: Luton Town

Edit: I know I said previously that I don't like the style of football played by gillyhoof but I do think that they're a serious contender for the title.
