Because it's in Drumchapel, Self explanatory, that's like saying why does the 6A not say Achamore Road

Drumchapel is a huge place and having the screen correct would actually make connections make easier as it's said above previous routes have shown the station as the terminus

Tbf ive thought this as well it's a huge scheme itd be handy if it was like the 3 said Drumchapel Station, the 1C said Drumchapel Monymusk Place it would be handy it's not a bad idea

I've been enjoying travelling on some of the repowers, the seating feels especially comfortable!

Two buses I took today had a scrolling screen with the date, time and West of England v. 2.something.

Will these fall into the usual First Glasgow position of bring neglected?

33433 still has the side advert for "Now You See Me: Now You Don't", it’s been nearly a year since that movie came out last November, so I’m wondering why nobody has tried to replace it? Is it because the double-adverts are harder ones to replace?

It's not the highest priority to remove an advert, It's still out earning revenue, It'll be getting a repaint at somepoint as well

It’s up to the advertising contractor to replace/update (or vehicle shop if a body wrap). I would assume the vehicle had been marked out of service and the old promo remains in situ until replaced with another.

I honestly don't get why it having the advert is even a concern in the first place, World is crumbling and this is somebody's main point of concern, So far away from reality

Because it generates revenue? I was on a night time visit at a bus depot to watch two teams await the arrival of their target vehicles and set upon them as they ended their day’s run, and it took about 30 minutes unless a complex installation. Sometimes the bus was washed before, sometimes after (!) but like billboards, the paste pot and brush is long gone, it’s printed on self-adhesive vinyl then peeled and affixed. Rebates are given if a vehicle is taken out of service for any period longer than normal. Even an empty bus is earning money to the bus company - as long as it is scheduled to run (and be a moving billboard).

Global do all the adverts on buses and come and change them, less advertisers pay for large t-adverts and those are thus changed less frequently than standard adverts

I agree. More important matters going on in the world.. I’ve seen many buses with adverts which are “outdated”, it doesn’t affect the performance of the motor whatsoever. Management would rather have it earn a day’s worth of revenue than pull it off for something so trivial

Those large advert frames seem to have been abandoned in use. Some have been removed completely from vehicles including the frames.
