There's 4 courses from June? Thought they only planned to have a few. March, April, May and June?
Dunno what's going on? Wonder if anymore are on hold as the list seems small

Well going just of whats been said on this forum, there only seems to have been an April course on offer no sign of a march one, so if mach was in the plan then they have already changed it, and dont take my word for it about the four courses from june onwards i was just repeating what ML said earlier at the top of this page which was "Like I say word on grapevine is four courses between June and end of the year"

Got'chya! Glad I'm not not the only one left waiting.
I know for def there's a LTV course in March. Think the first west one is April. Has anyone's on hold status lapsed a year?

Hi all,

I've been reading this thread with a big interest, I am also a waiter :( I did my MMI in October and was told I would have my final interview at the start of November. I'm still waiting for a date for my final interview. I have no clue as to what is going on

I'm external and did the MMI a couple of weeks ago.
Found out last week I'd passed so just need to wait for a final interview.
At the MMI it appeared that they were keen to move through the remaining stages pretty quickly but the email I received states they can't say when final interviews will take place.
I have applied for Westbury BTW.
Congratulations to all who have been given a start date I'm very jealous!!

I originally had stage 1 in September 2013 and was invited to do the new stage 1 in December 2014.
Not a recent application sorry for the confusion!

What would actually be quite nice is for a phone call that just says, "yes we do want you, you will be offered a medical for a course in *****, we just don't have dates for medicals yet". At least that way people can at least begin to plan notice periods etc.

When I spoke to them a week ago, they said they do intend to have more training courses over the next few months, however they are uncertain on the required numbers needed and for what depots? So it is a case of waiting.
They also mentioned they are finalising the 2015 tax year so maybe in contact soon.
As mentioned, I don't think all of us will be offered the opportunity (I know it's a damper) but the main courses for the year (April - west and Reading/pad - East) have already given places to candidates.

I thought from the recent recruitment most internals had their MMI in December having had the rest in October

Did you apply earlier? Given final interviews happening now might be worth making contact?

I struggled being offered a telephone interview at first so know the feeling

I did my first assessment in June 2013, I spoke to them a couple of weeks a go and they told me they were in the process of sorting final interviews and will get back to me shortly.

Definite courses for the East side in March April and May, the ones with the top assessment marks will be asked first. Maybe more later on but this will apparently be the last recruitment drive for a bit as the managers need to concentrate on electrification and the new traction it will bring. A lot of conversion courses as you can imagine. They also want to see the effect Crossrail will have and how many drivers (and other staff) they could lose to them.
