Its just come to me. I sat my stage 2 assesment yesterday and left right after the structured interview. Thy never asked to see my documents. I had them all and was told they would take copies but never did. Did anyone else experience this

I recently had that happen with another operator. Ring them. They will almost certainly sort something out.

In my experience, they gave them a cursory check at assessment 1 then took photocopies at the end of DM interview. I don't think I needed them at stage 2 (although I did take them, best be safe than sorry etc).

Don't worry, if they want something they'll let you know. They can be quick when they want to be.

Cheers. I only realized half way back up the m42 that they never actually asked to see my documents this time. They said theyd look at them but never did lol.

ok, so I sat my stage 2 assessment on Wednesday in Swindon for Trainee Train Driver in Westbury.
Started promptly at 10 oclock with only 6 of us that day. We begain by writing answers to questions which would later be used in the MMI should we have made it that far.
After our answers had been collected we sat the TEA Occ test.
This was a fairly easy test that required you to concentrate and listen for things and then multitask and do two things at once. Fairly straight forward.
Then we moved onto written communication test, looking at a sheet of images and writing a reports highlighting the events that occured in the pictures, this was to see how well you communicate in written form as the test states.
Afterwards we were allowed a break whilst they set the computers up for the tests.
3 computerized tests which you must complete in one sitting. The grey square test which consisted of your full undivided attention for 30 mins the the traffic images test and then 2 hand coodination.
After these we had another break and then sat the situational judgement excersise, consisting of 21 questions and you answer with how helful you believe the desision your "theoretical" self has made on screen. This was the last of the tests and one by one we were invited into private to find our results.
I passed (yey) and went straight into the MMI. Very in depth questioning and probing around the answers to the 6 questions I wrote at the beginning of the day. Now I await my results and was informed I should hopefully hear by next week, heres hoping. Our assessor also informed us that intakes can be as soon as dac/jan should I be successful throughout the rest of the process.

Got a phone call today from FGW asking if I had recieved an invitation for my DTM INTERVIEW. Said that I hadn't, apparently there has been a problem with. Their database, and they are unsure who has had feedback or invites to next stage.

Don't know if this just effects the invites for DTM interviews or for all the next stages.

I had the same call last Friday... The woman said I should have a DTM date by the end of this week... She seamed quite sorry about the confusion. But there you go. I don't really mind if it works out ok in the end.

Hi just after a bit of advice. I failed stage 2 but absolutely no feedback which I have asked for. It is likely I failed the CBI. Just wondering is there a chance I could have borderline passed some areas? If so I've read that some companies accept borderline passes. Incidentally my CBI lasted nearly 2 hours and was very probing. But despite that obviously my answers weren't good enough. I did walk out the interview feeling I had performed reasonably well so it makes you wonder whether the answers written by the assessor are moderated by somebody else afterwards.
My situation is very strange as I completed Stage 1 (the new assessments) but Stage 2 was the old assessments. I guess this means I will have to resit the whole of Stage 2 again now it has changed.

Sorry to hear that. It will defiantly be the CBI you failed because they won't interview you if you fail the reactions test. You may struggle to get feedback as they are slow telling people that have passed what is going on at the moment let alone people who have failed. But do keep asking. I don't know anything about the new processes or if you will have to re do them sorry. Good luck

I would say it is pretty much like going through your online application.
Do you remember the questions? (i.e. customer care related)
They will verify whether it was you writing it and your verbal communication - the way you speak etc.

yes the 18th. I've managed to have a good read of this thread also, some good info. Good luck for stage two when we get a date :)

Have you had any dates yet? I got an e-mail a few days ago for the first week of December. I was very pleasantly surprised as I'd thought I wouldn't hear anything until January. Getting nervous and desperately trying to find someone to help me practice the tests!

I've chosen Watford as it'll be easier to get to than Swindon. Good luck.

Hi, Just had an email confirming I have passed stage 1 :) but can not give any details as yet when stage 2 will be. I hope you have passed as well will keep my fingers crossed for you. Good Luck

Have you had an e-mail with stage 2 dates yet? I've got 3rd December in Watford. It'll be nice to think we all get through around the same time. I've applied for Paddington. Good luck.

Hi ya, I am going on my stage 2 assessment tomorrow at Watford.
I am not looking forward to the MMI, going on some of the comments people have left, but lets hope I get to that stage and I will give it a good crack.
Good luck on your assessment and hopefully we will crack it.:)

When did you do your stage 1? I did mine in Reading on 18th October and I've just accepted date for stage 2 in the first week of December. Someone else from the same week of stage 1 tests is doing their stage 2 next week so perhaps you'll hear very soon. I've applied for Paddington as well. Good luck.
