The Best Impressions Beeline colour scheme did last on buses into the early-2000's IIRC, only the logo was replaced with one in First's typeface. There wasn't a rush to repaint the yellow buses into a 'Barbie' livery.I agree with you - was definitely a good scheme. Sadly, the bees were smoked out, the badgers gassed, etc as First corporate identity was imposed.
Only a batch of new ALX200s were in corporate 'Barbie' during that period. The fleet of Citaros were delivered in a silver/purple BAA Heathrow branding (similar to the Heathrow Express).
The 2014 Beeline livery for Bracknell used the Olympia template with a pastel blue-violet replacing the blue.
Of course, people still called it Beeline long after the name had been relegated to just legal lettering, but that's not particularly unusual.
