I was on what appeared to be an ex silverlink 150/1 this afternoon. The flooring was light grey with what appeared to be blue spots. Did silverlink refresh the diesel fleet to the said standard? I also noticed the flip up seats need to be pulled up from the very bottom via a lever much to the puzzlement of passengers.
On my train the guard decided to up-root passengers in this area to make way for a bike. Obviously safety comes first. The door had to be manually kicked open at each stop, however. Not a promising sign! This was coupled with the windows banging open. The seating also seems susceptible to ripping.
Currently I'm on a 158. I notice all seats have tables fitted to the backs of them a new phenomenon. When did fgw fit all original 158 seats with tables and what took them so long. There must be an interesting story here. Some areas of the carpet are sticking up not sure if this is a reoccurring problem on these units.
I also wish to find out what the stop is between Freshford and bath? I definitely saw an old station sign.

The other question of which I've just remembered is are fgw fitting opaque screening to the 158 internal doors?
