Just a heads up. Had my medical today for go via after being pulled forward from the fcc talent pool with a start date end of November. Keep faith guys its hard but has taken me nearly 3 years to get to this point

Had the medical last wed and then an email on friday saying id passed and that my offer/contract would be sent out . Company induction starts 26th Nov. ☺

Just out of curiosity, how long have you been in the 'pool' for now? I know the process is long and drawn out but i'm just wondering how long people have had their armbands on for? Also, i'm assuming it's for Govia now and not FCC?

I passed everything last September for Brighton so just over a year now

Yes mate go via now. Been in the pool nearly 2 years. Applied jan 2011. Passed the tests feb and march 2012

Feb/March this year, can't imagine how frustrating it must have been for you guys over a year, at least the wait is nearly over now though! ??????

Applied Dec 2011 did assessments early 2013 been in talent pool since. Ive got marrried and had 2 kids while waiting! ☺

Applied last December with the tests happening in may and June this year

Long time to be waiting a year let alone longer!

Why is the waiting so long for you guys? Is it simply a training depot allocation? ?

Congratulations! Sent mine back today.

As for the wait who knows maybe they have been filling positions at other depots first, maybe they just had several people in front of us.
At the end of the day all we can do is sit, wait and hope a position becomes available!

Hi Folks,

Its been a while since completing the FCC application form and I was wondering if anyone can remember whether there was a section about references and who we selected ?

I am about to go thru referencing and just gone through my application and cant see them ?

Once i had passed the medical they emailed a new reference form and used that instead. But yes there was a reference section on the application form when i applied anyway.
