Computer Animation this afternoon and Distributed Programming Concepts tomorrow then I have finished

My first GCSE today, RS! But here is an answer from a Science paper done in class.

It feeels strange that there's all these exams and my first one's not 'till Thursday: usually my music practical comes first but I'm not doing music this year

Higher english today was horrific! The close reading part was about the countryside , but the essay questions were quite good - Managed Hamlet and Shooting Stars (poem)

Got all three of mine tomorrow, followed by Mechanics 1 on Wednesday, and both physics papers on Thursday! Really worried about the Investigation paper in geography. Did really badly in the mock! I've also got Core 1 and 2 (maths!) on the 2nd June, and all three economics on the 4th, and on the 7th I've got SATs. Not English SATs, but American SATs, which aren't too bad, but as there weren't any test centres left I'm supposed to be going to the Isle of Man, but if I turn up at a different test centre then it should be ok.

Our test is different. Edexcel ask questions about their text book which basically you cannot do if you don't learn it.

Y'know...we did Lord of the Flies for our GCSE exam. I never read it! Still couldn't tell you what happened or who was who.

I had to scan the book for the answers while I was in the exam!

...I got a C 8)

I did LOTF as well and Hamlet and "Daddy" by Sylvia Plath (although I never used the latter in the exam). LOTF is alright, but I really enjoyed Hamlet and Daddy.

Thing is, we don't have texts in the exam, so we have to memorise quotes: you do really have to know the book inside out. A bit unfair that you're not allowed a sheet of quotes for reference purposes IMO, but I'm not complaining: I got an A

Of course it cant just be a yes no answer.

:roll: - I was waiting for a reply like that from you.

Now I didn't say I was getting A*s, All I said is you don't really need to revise. Which is true! Most of the test is of opinions.

Whne we did our RE papers (or, as we called them, RMPS) we had to learn some random quotes and info to support our opinions, and understand a lot of philosophical theories to boot. Oh, and had some nice sections where we had to say how a certain moral stance can be used to tackle a moral issue.
