With exam season now fast approaching, I thought I'd share these funny exam answers with you, which I found online.

Most I've heard of is 3: The SQA had them all running at the same time! :roll: Apparently not many people were sitting them so the school had to have special arrangements in place so the guy could have breaks for lunch and so on: sadly, he had to eat lunch on his own.

Well, no...maybe not at your stage of your life but they are important at that moment in time.

Besides, SATs determine what set you go into for GCSE in vital subjects like English Maths and Science, so let's not under-rate them.


GCSE's starting next week for me. Think my last exam is 24th of June, but I leave school on the 21st of May.

Precisely, to me doing A Levels, SATs seem easy, and worthless. But to Fred, they are the "here and now" and so I think they are very important.

the funny exam bits at the top are funny - in internal practice papers if you don't know the answer it keeps you sane if you create a stupid answer and write it down. Such as putting "because it is" seems a popular one, as is "I dunno - you tell me". Not overley funny I know, I try to think of better humor

Very recently:

"What do you know about De Moivre's Theorem?"

I wrote "nothing.", which was technically correct, but I didn't get any marks

I once also stated that dissection was a good way to estimate % body fat.

hockxactly, and A Levels for those of you who like me are starting them next week, can basically ruin your life and career. Much said for GCSE's as well to a point... If you dont get the right GCSE's, you cant choose some A Levels, and therefore goes your career aspect.

But yeah, Psychology, Biology, and Health and Social for me... Although my Biology is turning into a nightmare. 270 minute exam.

And as for people having exam clashes.... at my school they send people with huge exam clashes home after school - with a teacher in towhock:to make sure people cant talk to others and find out what was on the exam.

GCSE's were alright, A Levels were pains in the rear, but university really is taking the biscuit. 6 Exams that are crucial over 2.5 weeks. Start in a week but Im still dealing with coursework. Ive been doing coursework solidly since early March.

Time for revision is non existent.

We just isolate the clashers in a little room with no human contact.

I think AHs are hard: they're harder than A-Levels apparently. We had coursework all the time but thankfully that's in Edinburgh for marking. The exams start this week with my first one a week on Tuesday, finishing on the 30th. Thankfully, I have lots of revision time. Based on what you've said. bluenoxiid, uni sounds...fun...

I think my best was when I had a double spread page of Maths questions which I didn't have a clue at, so I got out me Pritt Stick and stuck em together so the examiner thought it had come like that and I'd presumed it had been done on purpose hock:

Does anyone else's exam papers come with correction notices? Every year, most of my exams have printing errors in the papers. Bloody SQA :roll:

My favourite one was.

"Before we begin, your attention please, we must inform you of a CORRECTION!

Open your booklets on page three.

There is a missing full stop on question 2) b) ii). Insert a full stop after the word 'lever'.

That is the end of the correction notice.

You can start".

We once had to write in a whole question in our music paper that got missed out hock: they gave us the answer boxes to tick with the answers, but no question.

Have written "not any more" or "liar" under it on a few occassions (just internal exams of course).

Been done at our school: one sixth year group threw eggs at all the teachers. All got sent home and the prom was cancelled.

I've seen worse, though. My Aunt is an assistant principal at a school (won't name which one) and last year she took the executive decision to expel all 6th year pupils the day before the last day just in case they did anything hock:

The tabloids had a field day with that story.
