What do EPR plan to use all these 60s on? I realised ive been keeping up with this thread for a while but i havent actually seen anything on it
I’m not an expert of any sort but this photo of 077s cab off of trainlogger (credits to CLJ_Spotter) really just isn’t promising, especially when there are super 60s lying around. I have heard that there was mention of EPR removing parts from locos at the quarry, is there a miscommunication of some sort or are these 3 locos definitely booked for reinstatement?
Big market for recycled aggregate like ballast this days.. Using it is cheaper than newly quarried stone (that has an aggregate tax in).. A key location is Bradwell Sidings near Longport. I imagine there would be other potential dotted around the country. What do EPR plan to use all these 60s on? Pure speculation, IF EPR are wanting the get properly into the freight game Id imagine theyd have an eye on the predicted increase of scrap metal traffic to south wales in the coming years. What do EPR plan to use all these 60s on? And its at Colwick???Reported today that 60011 has finally been transferred out of the WQDA TOPS pool, strangely though it's been, at least initially, placed into the EPRO operational pool rather than EPRS stored where all bar 60063 are
011 is inside Colwick shedsAnd its at Colwick???
Path has been activated.I'm not expecting it to run after yesterday's run, but will this run happen today? It's 0N60 Rectory Jn - Crewe, wondering whether it could be 60074?
