Out of interest, has anyone here been persuaded to go to Northallerton with this group as a result of Pasu's postings?

If Pasu n Co. tried to do that on my train he'll be off at Harlesden Junction Polesworth or Tebay South. And i got people who can back me up on my word...
I'm quite surprised by your views considering you claim to be a train driver. Would you not be even slightly concerned if you were driving and a group of kids were messing about shouting and waving their arms at your train on a platform that you were approaching?
There's a difference between someone waving at your train and being in danger of being sucked off the platform. However I think we may have to agree to disagree on this.Yes the HST thing was to near. Seeing people wave at your train is just 'nice' whats the point in getting worked up about it. They're out there to have fun, not to jump under it. I have said about the too close thing and they realise that. Apart from that they were having fun.

People get too worked up about it! Honestly! THEY ARE HAVING FUN NOT HARMING OR HURTING ANYONE, yes i disagree with the swearing. But if thats what gets them excited, waving at trains. Leave them be!

Of course there's a difference. The first thing is just being cheerful/friendly, the second is just downright irresponsible & dangerous.
