Hi Guys. Noticed a couple of people talking about someone in the cess - as I haven't seen the video which shows it, I'd just like to point out that if it was at the Dawlish end of Starcross, there was a public footpath off the end of the platform towards a small dock. There was no fence until the bottom of the ramp, and my entire body was on the platform side of the different coloured slabs which were on the platform.

jesus harlesden junction, they would not last long there, they would end up down the police station filling a report of theft, gbh,abh, m*lestation, but to list a few, ascot you know some bad people and places.

I just finished reading the enthusiasts or bunch or chavs topic and the comments left on there were completely unacceptable.

They were not harming any of you atall in any way, shape or form.

So why go on and on at someone? It's harsh, childish and plain inconsiderate.

None of you are perfect, who are you to criticise. Especially 'Pasu' You wouldnt talk to anyone else like that, why him.

Well, it is nice to see a different viewpoint on this debate. I still think some of the group's actions were dangerous, but I think some people did get a little too worked up about it.

At least no-one got hurt.

Yes the HST thing was to near. Seeing people wave at your train is just 'nice' whats the point in getting worked up about it. They're out there to have fun, not to jump under it. I have said about the too close thing and they realise that. Apart from that they were having fun.

Seems crazy to me, only reason i'd do what i said is the safety of every other passenger.

There's a difference between someone waving at your train and being in danger of being sucked off the platform. However I think we may have to agree to disagree on this.

I personally find it disgraceful that they were flailing their arms etc about, but most importantly- They were shouting swear words in public at MTUs etc, when their was probably young children around at the time.

It's not exactly like they could go up to the idiots and tell them to stop it, without them doing something back to them ...

When I first saw the HST, I sarcasticly thought to myself that it was a shame that no one stuck a fist out of the window, and taught the "Train Spotters" a lesson.

I personally never go on stations, in a group, and act in a very hyper, possibly offensive manner towards trains/members of the public/staff. I always go to stations/bridges etc, and calmly take photographs of trains, and sometimes have a nice chat with TMs if I know/see them.

That would be fine if it were within a padded cell, but acting stupid just to get a hoot is not on.

I have to say if i were going to do things like this i'd rather have fun trying to get a hoot instead of stood at the end of the platform with a nikon camera and a book with numbers in!

Sadly there were a few instances in the video at the start of this tread that were leaning towards the latter.
