Hee hee - don't worry about that, I've had a word with a TM based at Derby - if anyone who isn't MML staff is spotted wearing an MML uniform on one of his trains he'll have the BTP waiting at the next station - sad gits is what he said!

And these lot probably wonder why enthusiasts get hassled off railway staff or btp at stations. Sadly, 'normals' and staff see people behaving like these ar5eholes and associate all enthusiasts with this sort of behaviour. As they don't appear to like MTUs, they'll have to find somewhere else to have their orgasms instead in a few months time!

It's a sad reflection on society that there seem to be an increasing number of people who just don't know how to behave in public.

Telling an MTU to **** off is just really sad. Why can't people just accept that Valenta's are being replaced?

These kind of people give the rest of us a bad name.

As long as they dont go under your train, and mosty of them if they're on your train dont want anything to do with anyone else. Whats the problem? I go out every Friday/Sat and get drunk all the time. It's what we call 'Fun'.

Yes, but then theres being pi$$ed by a railway line acting like total n0bs!

Please keep it civilised in here. I've had to delete several posts that over-stepped the mark.

I agree with alot of people here that shouting at a thing thats going faster then them is abit sad. It dosent have any feelings. It has no mind. It is a machine of wonders. It cannot here abuse or any kind of torment. That video would of been ok if he was using a tripod and they werent shouting. That makes it bad. and the for the guy doing his fingers at 43177 which had just been refurbed at the time. He is very sad. When me and fred saw mtus at west drayton we just sit and film them as they go past. All though one was very stinky!. When we saw the MML one we never batted an eyelid fred said the s88it word because he didnt film it. I just sad and watched it float past the station. When we saw other valentas we just got two tones.

Its a train it has no feelings. An mtu compared to a valentas is like being deaf. So what? I dont mind mtus I like the front of them. Give it an intercity feel again. Its sad to see the valenta PC go , but whats the worry? Its a peice of history thats life. The HST is a very reliable train in my aspect and Im sure in FGWs , MML and GNER. MTUs are keeping this beast of a train alive for a few more years. We should be thankful its better then a few 185 look a likes swamping everywhere! If there were desiros or meridians along the GWML it wouldnt appeal to me anymore!.As somone said the railway isnt based around enthusiasts its for the passengers and money. Anyways Im frilled about it staying longer. My 455s would of been scrapped because of age and abuse , now CL have stepped in there staying on for a couple of years.

Everything has its time but the HST is long from that.......
