EMT jobs

I recently went for assessment day but didn't get through to final interview. The speed interview first question threw me.
I've not changed jobs in 16 years and I am not used to this kind of process.

Anyway I have applied for another more suitable job. I did email emt for some feedback but got no reply. Some of the candidates spoke of facts like they had a email with general info on emt. I didn't get anything like that. All I can find is wiki stuff and I don't always trust them as up to date.

So what I'm looking for is when they ask what do you know about sky what are they looking for. Same as why would you make a good employee for emt.
I'm not want the answers but guidance. I went blank last time and just want to do some research so I don't freeze.

When I went for a job there in 2016 I got to the interview stage. The job was specifically concerning the local services network and I was asked what I knew about them, I simply listed the routes etc. I don’t recall being asked about EMT specifically.

Thank you. Thought routes may be more important. I went on about mainline and local services and the trains.

You just have to show you have an interest in the company and know some basics, probably don’t need all of these but they will all help
- when the EMT franchise started
- Their passenger satisfaction/punctuality score
- what routes they cover
- what traction they run
- who their parent company is
- what other operations the parent company operates
- any recent events/projects they’ve been involved in

As for why you would make a good EMT employee, this is where you have to be a bit of a sales person and sell yourself, it kinda depends on the role but basically your qualities, so things like
- if your good at customer service
- if you are a good time keeper (punctual)
- if you are always looking to better yourself
- what motivates you
And if you can try and give examples to back it up and link it to the role your applying for

As said you just have to show that you genuinly take interest in the company as a whole, the information is out there, and although it’s not easy to dig out a lot of it is spread around their website

Thank you. I will put time in to answer them points. I do know quite a few. Now I know I'm looking in right place and not wasting my time.

Apparently I've failed SCAAT test. Gutted. Pasted TRFS and was not worried about SCAAT but I was wrong so got 6 month wait now. Puts my depot driver/train driver dream on hold.
