Yipeeee!.....pasted the first stage of stage 2 and had my interview.
6 of us sat the test,1 of us didn't make the interview.nice guy too.
So just sit and wait now.one more stage 2 on 28th I think.
Those that did stage 1 this week, did you just do Bourdon group, Glop, and Dials testing? The reason i ask is that i applied but having passed the above tests with FGW i did not need to take part.
Hi there,
The Stage 1 tests that EMT are holding also include the new TEA-Occ.
So if i get called forward for stage 2 i wonder if i will have to take TEA-Occ or will they ignore it and give me a bye because i passed the old stage 1 within the last 6 months?
Unfortunately, I reckon you'll still have to do it. I'm aware of another person on this forum who also had a Stage 1 pass with FGW, but was told he would have to take the new Stage 1 with the TEA-Occ.
HR would probably be the best people to advise you on what to do.
How was the interview? I passed my stage 2 last week but the interviewer was ill so I presume mine will be next week or the week after, been doing a lot of preparation for it on questions that could be asked based on behavioural situations but I'm really nervous about it! Any info would be greatly appreciated!![]()

Don't be nervous mate.the interviewers are nice guys,it's like talking to a friend I found.trust me,no need to be nervous
If you have done some prep then stop now and relax.
It's not that bad trust me.
Got to go now.got my manager interview in 25 mins!.
Just had manager interview.that felt tougher then stag 2 interview.
That's it!..no more.sit and wait time.

Just be careful coz I was invited to stage 1 already having a pass with fgw. They said tht was fine and to call back after they had done stage 2 assessments as I wanted to come straight into dm interview. I spoke the other day to them and they said I nees to do all assessment with them

Has anyone who sat their stage one last week heard anything yet? I'm probably jumping the gun a bit just desperate to find out how I did!!

I know how you feel now.I had my dm on Monday morning, they told me I was the last 1 of 2 that day. Now a guy who took the stag 2 same day as me emailed me yesterday and said he just had his dm and passed and has his medical on Thursday!! .
I'm finding that checking on this forum is the worst possible thing you can do when waiting for an assessment or interview outcome , yet I keep coming back for more punishment. lol.
The moment someone else hears something and you don't, you panic (me included), lol.
Although I've still not heard back on how I did in the Stage 2 MMI (over 2 weeks ago), I'm staying positive.
I remember waiting nearly 2 months to hear back from my application form, then a month for my Stage 1 pass. I was convinced I'd failed at both of those stages.
I'm wondering if candidates' individual circumstances play into when you hear back about results, such as choice of depot (mine's Nottingham) or notice period (4 weeks for me) in cur
I guess all we can do is wait (again) and see.
Hopefully, this week you'll hear good news back about the DM interview, and I'll hear good news back about the MMI.
Got an email at 3 inviting me to stage 2 in Nottingham next Friday so guessing I passed stage 1. Good luck all.
From what I've heard...A good ol' thrasing is on the cards for the Multi-Modal Interview. We'll soon find out first-hand. lol![]()
Hi Dynamonic I applied for vacancy for trainee depot driver @EMT last year, unfortunately couldn't attend assessments I contacted HR to explain why with apologies. If successful in assessments and interviews is this the best way of progressing onto fully qualified train driver as I have never seen adverts for trainee train drivers at EMT??
