Good news indeed. National Rail are reporting that the work will be done overnight this Friday/Saturday
Sorry but can't really see that being spun as 'Good News'. That would be if they had significantly cut down on the time of the inconvenience. But that hasn't happened. The fault developed on 30 September when it was stated "We hope to have the railway back in full operation within four weeks.". The full four weeks has been taken, nothing less.

I'm not spinning it as anything. It's good news if you've had to endure other ways of getting to work, due to overcrowding. They originally said it would take at least till the end of October, so if they do repair it next weekend, that's a bonus for me.
