Yes, I seen that when I first looked when the route was launched but didn't see the service latest search. It does show you just have to look for the one that takes the longest, 14:25 it leaves Bridge of Don P&R the E11

It isn't showing for me either, unless I change the destination to Dundee Marketgait. In fairness they're very close together but it's a slightly irritating bug, even if I understand why they've done it.Yes, I seen that when I first looked when the route was launched but didn't see the service latest search.
Additional trip per day added to the E11 - quoted from Ember on Facebook.⚡️ Additional services on the E11 route connecting Aberdeen to Dundee via Braemar ⚡️
From 19 August Ember's initial express service will double in frequency, meaning two services runnng in each direction, seven days a week. As a reminder, we'll be adding many more stops to this route on a registered service later this year.
Feedback on this route so far has been very positive, with the journey taking in some of the most beautiful landscapes and scenery in the region.
If you'd like to try the E11 out for yourself, tickets are on sale NOW at https://www.ember.to/
Realistically what would the route be though? speaking as someone wholly uneducated but surely something like Edinburgh to Newcastle is already a pretty saturated market and would the coaches even manage that far? Glasgow to Carlisle seems like the other obvious choice but that seems like a relatively low demand corridor.I think that's the plan eventually.
Edinburgh to Newcastle is a similar distance to Edinburgh to Aberdeen, which they already do.Realistically what would the route be though? speaking as someone wholly uneducated but surely something like Edinburgh to Newcastle is already a pretty saturated market and would the coaches even manage that far? Edinburgh to Manchester is a gap at the moment. Glasgow/Edinburgh to Dumfries, already served.Realistically what would the route be though? speaking as someone wholly uneducated but surely something like Edinburgh to Newcastle is already a pretty saturated market and would the coaches even manage that far? Yes, it was linked to in post #746.Just noticed an interesting article on Ember's news page dated 25th July talking about their fares structure. They base them on car driving journeys and gives the example of Dundee to Braemar costing more than Dundee to Banchory even though Ember serve Banchory via Dundee.
no it’ll be the same as Glasgow. a Driver hubAre ember opening a depot in wallyford as i notice tgey are looking for drivers
I reckon one is edinburgh to glasgow but im not sure about the otherAny ideas on what the E8/E9 could be?
Also has any operator attempted a service from Mallaig-Any city?
I assume Edinburgh - Glasgow and Edinburgh - Stirling, because that is how Scottish coach numbering works?Any ideas on what the E8/E9 could be?
It's tremendously exciting that what they're doing makes it reasonable for us to start dreaming of things like this! Also has any operator attempted a service from Mallaig-Any city?
Most likley Edinburgh/Glasgow - Inverness the direct route via Perth, you can go Edinburgh/Glasgow to & from Inverness on Ember but rather converluted way via Aberdeen & Dundee.Any ideas on what the E8/E9 could be?

To be fair I had no idea that McGills were running Edinburgh-Glasgow. Ember seem to be quite good at advertising to the types of people who like to have their journey all sorted in advance online, and would normally never even consider a bus. They'll need to do something a bit unique to make Edinburgh Glasgow work. I don't know what the loadings are like at the moment, but apparently most of the time there's nothing but fresh air on the McGills Edinburgh Glasgow run while 900 continues to be packed on many runs
Do you mean the X38? I’m not surprised as it’s a bit like catching the train but via Carstairs (not direct). During Fesrival August there’ll be no fresh air - as a constant stream of buses will testify as folk cascade on to the following service when required.but fresh air on the McGills Edinburgh Glasgow run

Flixbus and Citylink are already on this route.I reckon one is edinburgh to glasgow but im not sure about the other
Flixbus tend to pick up overseas tourists who have booked in advance between Edinburgh and Glasgow. The 900 is just easier to use with £10 return fare. Book close to departure with Flixbus and the fare shots up and you have then annoying seat reservations. To be fair I had no idea that McGills were running Edinburgh-Glasgow. I knew about Flixbus, but had no idea (or much interest) in who was actually operating it. As you say the whole seat reservation thing is annoying on Flixbus UK, and I wouldn't ever consider them for a journey like this. Ember are catering to a completely different customer base.Flixbus and Citylink are already on this route.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ember run Glasgow/Edinburgh - Dumfries.
anything could be tried! XD I would say possibly Inverness-Glasgow/Edinburgh but also Edinburgh-Glasgow could be it,maybe ember will compete with the MEGA/SCLK Saltire cross. The UK090 Has been doing not so well for a long time……Flixbus and Citylink are already on this route.
Glasgow/Edinburgh/Dundee - Oban I reckon is coming soon.
