As far as I'm aware ICE1's are not able to tilt therefore rendering them useless on the WCML.

he probably meant ICE-T vs Pendo, and much as I like ICEs in general, the ICE-T is a bit rubbish and even more so the ICE-TD. Pendolino is much better and the ICE-TD/Voyager are as bad as each other
