Reached York at 1724 after a fast non-stop run from KGX (left c1535), overtaking several other EC services en route.
Now heading north at speed, still off timetable.
Is it an extra service?
The GPS signal seems more erratic than previously, with big leaps in position now and again after seemingly being stopped for a minute or two.
This is in open country and nothing to do with tunnels etc.
And no I haven't got anything better to do today than electronic train-watching...
Reached Edinburgh at 1952 having called at York, Darlington and Newcastle. 4h17m.
Still not on NRES live boards.
And now off to Glasgow, about half an hour behind the 1500 ex KGX...!
