I dunno twenty minuets in the peak seems reasonable enough to me for a team of cleaners to get round the train, tank the toilets, load the food, put out reservations and then load the passengers. I mean how long can you afford to be down a platform at KGX in the middle of rush hour?

I've gone back and had a look at some pre-May timetables and the Forster Square's were all booked to be 225s. I would guess that the change occurred around 1994 as that's when the wires reached Forster Square, but I'm happy to be corrected on that point.
As an aside the timetables also reminded just how extensive EC's catering used to be for all passengers compared to now
First time I've checked in on the train tracker thing to see that the train is doing something more than sit at a terminus point!
