This is one late train, I'm impressed they've not caped it.
There's a Newcastle (the 1946 arrival) due in about 10, I understand.

This is almost exciting, but in a very awful way. Gosh we're a bit sad.
If anyone is stuck at Kings Cross, you wouldn't happen to be able to tell us which set is parked up in Platform 8 could you?
An Edinburgh (the 1955) is due in at 2235.
Some day soon, we are going to need to find out what DVT we are following!!
Quite - it could become 'the RailUK DVT'.![]()

I was wondering that too, in fact I'm surprised that at least one person on this forum hasn't been able to identify it for us as of yet. I wonder if its' the "Flying Scotsman" branded DVT, 82205? It would certainly make it easier to find that elusive set which works pretty much anything except its' namesake service! Some day soon, we are going to need to find out what DVT we are following!!
Wait a second, don't East Coast trains to bradford go into Forster Square, which is the northern station of the two?
I expect to be at KGX for the 19:00 departure, so if you guys tell me which plat. to look in, I can write down my first (and probs last!) train no.My money is on this forming the 1425 NCL to KGX next, if anyone is . . .
You are correct EC call at Forster Square not Interchange as only Forster Square has wires.
Though until the May 2011 timetable change they were all run by diesels anyway...
I was under the impression that it was the Skiptons that were run exclusively by HSTs and that at least one of the Bradfords was 225?

Ah, could be. I've only been getting the ex-Bradford trains regularly since the timetable change speeded them up and the trains after and before got slower.
They (well, BR) used to run diesels from the Interchange years ago if that helps
