Work relating to the new platform 8 at Cardiff Central?
--
Other major looking works from the NRE site appear to be the line between Birmingham New Street to Wolverhampton being closed, as well as Norton Bridge area
And the line east of Gidea Park on the Great Eastern being closed
Have read in press that track is to be laid in Platform 8 during the Easter Works at Cardiff and connected at the East End (Wueen St end) of the station. The West end will be connected during an occupation in October. Haven't got a commissioning date yet unless it's done in October.
