E-mail received, through to next stage! Bowled over I must admit as I was certain I'd failed! Sorry to hear about your result @Visualhappy, hope you have success in future applications!

Has anyone taken the plunge yet?
I have just done mine, they werent too bad, but the last one gets a bit tricky in the final stage, mine started without warning so missed a few, but its a similar test to mess with your head, like the final test of the assessment day!

I should be OK then - I actually preferred the SCAAT to the others! :D

Haha good Luck mate, I would say this is slightly harder than the SCAAT as the first two rounds of the last test are quite straight forward, but the last one is full on multi tasking all different kind of things happening lol, and the other two tests is just what you thinks best.

Thanks! :) How long did it take you to complete the online tests?

It took longer than expected, I think all in all it took a few hours, maybe less, so the first test is 25 scenarios and allows 70mins to complete (I think I took about 45mins), the 2nd test was a 120 questions but went through quite quickly, maybe about 20 to 30mins, and for the last test I completely lost track of time, I think the 2nd part to it had about a 150 errors, and the 3rd about the same they only allow 2 to 3 seconds for each error. The tests were a lot longer than expected. But once again Good Luck, and Good luck to everybody else!

Your welcome! Hopefully it will all be worth it.
If I pass, I pass, if I don't, I don't! Wasn't expecting to make it this far anyway so got nothing to lose, plus I'll hopefully be starting with another TOC in the near future as I'm in their talent pool awaiting further news! The actual dilemma would be if I passed everything with DRS as I wouldn't know which one to go for! Still going to give this my best shot though, I've come this far which is a huge achievement in itself! :)

Exactly same as me in regards to getting this far, I drove home and told my family I have definitely failed, to my surprise getting the email saying I passed, but im in a win win situation, I fly to Thailand on the 9th April which is the the week of the psychometric testing, so if I dont make it any further then its saving me a lot of money and I can get on with my holiday, but if I do make it to stage 5, then I will have to change my plans a bit, but at that stage, its a very good chance of passing everything and being offered a job. But I have absolutely nothing to lose anyway.

Good attitude to have! Hope you enjoy your holiday to Thailand! If you don't have to rearrange it that is!!! I had a similar situation before I started my current job - had to rearrange my holiday to Fuerteventura (if that's how you spell it lol)! :D

Cheers! I have learnt to never build my hopes up with a job, I will always put a 110% in the recruitment stage, but several jobs outside of my current industry, I have been told I have basically got the job (one being NR) and then get told unsuccessful, another was with sky, I passed the medical along with others and told we would be starting training 2 weeks later and they pulled the plug on the recruitment for our area. My current industry I get messed around regularly (im a contractor) so now I dont get excited till my first day of work, so with DRS im just taking it a step at a time but still think there will be no job at the end lol.

Just completed the online tests.......crikey my head is in bits! Think I did reasonably OK but I know I've messed up a couple of them and I reckon I've blown it! Had nothing to lose though so no point getting stressed! Good luck to everyone else though - whoever gets the job(s) thoroughly deserves it after those tests alone!!! :D

Im sure you will be fine mate, the last round of the last test is quite intense isnt it, at least you know if its correct or incorrect as you go along, but im sure you might of got thrown a bit like I did, I wonder what the pass rate is? Im hoping its about 75% im thinking if its above 80% then I have failed too! The initial application form was hard enough having to be hand written lol!

Well, I had nothing to lose anyway! I reckon I missed about 4 of them on the most intense part of it. Bit annoyed about that but I'm not going to lose sleep over it; in fact I need a lie down after that!!!! :D

You have done better than me! I messed up at least the first 4 or 5 as I thought it was a practice one first haha! And I got a few more wrong for sure! But yes, not worth losing sleep over, I assume we will find out late next week as the interviews commence the week after, has anybody else taken the plunge yet?

Well that was a turn up for the books! Was convinced I'd failed the online tests and received a phone call earlier informing me I had in fact passed the tests and now have an interview next week! :o

Quality mate, hopefully you will get all the way through to a job offer now! I applied for York as 1st preference then Carlisle as 2nd then Crewe as 3rd, so hopefully they havent phoned anyone for York yet, but im already taking it as that I havent passed anyway.

There's still the interview to pass, followed by another round of tests, so still more hoops to jump through yet! It also said in the initial letter they sent about the first round of tests that passing all five stages still doesn't necessarily guarantee you employment with DRS! I'm just enjoying how far I've got and living for the moment......a bit like Lincoln City and Sutton United did when they reached the sixth round of the FA Cup that time!!! :D

Lol thats one way at looking at it, im hoping you go all the way through and the same to all the other candidates, loads of hurdles to get over so hopefully it will be worth it for everybody who makes it to the end.
