Ah yes, you did my 100hr, seems like a lifetime ago! How you getting on at the new company mate?

Thanks! To be honest, I just tried to keep as cool and calm as I could, dealt with it as it comes, had a little word with myself before the final scenario because inside my head was a bit on fire, but ultimately it was no worse than I expected it to be!

Ha because it was! Think you were one of my last 100 hour assessments. Things are very different here: there’s an old school way of work here: everyone seems to help each other out though but at a smaller company this happens. I think 12 years south of the pond was enough; and it was time to move on, and Sod’s law as soon as I leave, you get a mega pay rise

Surely you got backdated some though? Even the trainees did alright out of it!

I left SWR just prior to a pay award being paid (backdated as always...) and made sure I got it, but I wouldn’t have had I not pestered them for it.
