There's a platform that looks pretty disused just south of Derby or is this Pear Tree?
Sounds like the one for Derby County's old home, the Baseball Ground. Is/was it called something 'Ramsline Halt'?
There are still traces of Camden Road, Haverstock Hill and Finchley Road Stations on the line out of St Pancras.
Good site re disused stations is http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/sites.shtml.
Correct. The platform was constructed for the East Midlands derby but was only used once IIRC. I think Peartree is still open but has a very infrequent service.
I think there are still some signs of a station at Folkestone East.
Also Castlethorpe on the WCML
Lea Bridge on the Lea Bridge Road.
Do any trains call at salwick on the blackpool line? Also i think theres a few on the poulton-fleetwood line.
Salwick still has a couple of trains each way on weekdays, used mainly by workers at the adjacent BNFL premises.
Brandling Station in Felling and Monkwearmouth Station. That video of Mayfield looks in better condition than most of Tynemouth Metro station!
There's also the old platforms for a station in Gateshead, just south of the High Level Bridge. One side can be seen here.
Wasn't there a station built for the City of Manchester stadium built for the commonwealth games that is never used?
Pendleton station has much still remaining as the train passes through it after leaving Salford Crescent on the Southport-bound line.
I think platforms are still visible at Upton-by-Chester when you head towards Hooton
Is there any access to the Platforms @ Norton Bridge as I was under the impression that the Footbridge was removed a few years ago.
