I would like to add, however, that I have personally encountered some of these G4S people at Piccadilly. In my opinion they should not be employed checking train tickets when they clearly have neither the knowledge nor interpersonal skills such a job requires. A role as a doorman at a less salubrious nightspot might be more suitable.
I can therefore easily understand why the OP, especially as a woman, could feel intimidated/bullied and am disappointed that a number of posters do not accept that this could cause her to give an old address by mistake.
