What about Pear Tree and Normanton?
One train each way a day I think.

Ardwick, Manors, Salwick, Bordesley...
The 'first stop' outside a city always seems to be forgotten about.
Dunno bout Pear Tree but Normanton has an hourly service from Leeds and Sheffield.
Not Normanton in Yorkshire. Pear Tree and Normanton is on the south side of Derby.
EDIT; First stop towards Birmingham after leaving the TriJunct station.![]()
AhhI feel really stupid now!
Yeah Peartree as we know it today was called 'Peartree & Normanton'.![]()
Normanton in W Yorks sure does have a decent service.
Yeah. Sorry I'm living in the past. I confused a railway staff person recently by talking about Sawley Junction.
Actually Normanton seems to be a popular name. There's South Normanton in North Derbyshire and Normanton on Soar in Nottinghamshire, but neither have stations.

Sudbury and Harrow road - couple of trains in the morning and evening peaks. And not a lot of people get on either!!
Strange that it serves such a big area of NW london though - mind you there's [plenty of tube and other rail statioins too - apparently its used as a sleeping location for tramps, and as a toilet toohock:
There are plenty of other options to travel yes - plus if it was closed then at least the track could be realigned to get a decent line speed through it as its crap as it stands.
Been a massive problem with the tramps and such like and no matter what is done they keep coming back - not just tramps either - all the junkies use it too..
Similar thing exists at Bordesley too, stand in the building there and you think you're in a toilet![]()
It should still get hosed down every morning before the trains though so at least they dont smell it going to work!![]()
Yep, they'd only need to do that Saturdays though - its closed Monday-Friday![]()
