I was delayed both on the outward and return journey from Theale - Brentford on a cheep day return. Route was Theale - Reading/Reading - Feltham/Feltham - Brentford.
Outward journey was delayed 32 minutes due to missed connection at Feltham
Return journey was delayed 33 minutes due to late running train from Reading

Can I claim for both legs of the journey?

Thank in advance.

Thanks out to SWR return GWR?
Claim from the train company that delayed you - if that was SWR on the way out and GWR on the way back then yes submit 2 separate claims for the relevant journeys.

You claim for the outward and return separately. You claim from whichever train company you were travelling on when things started to go wrong if that makes sense.

You should submit two claims, one for each delay to the relevant company. However, bear in mind that compensation is capped at 100% of the cost of the ticket (even if you had a 2 hour delay on the outward portion and a 30 minute delay on the return portion, for instance). That said, this limitation won't always be 'enforced', especially if you are claiming from different TOCs.
