On the 16th of September my mother and I travelled from Stalybridge to Beckenham Junction on Advance Singles with a Two Together Railcard.
The advertised route was:
11:50 SYB to Manchester Piccadilly, arrive 12:05
12:15 MAN to London Euston, arrive 14:24
14:39 Euston LU to London Victoria LU (Victoria line), arrive 14:48
15:10 London Victoria to BKJ, arrive 15:31.
We arrived in good time however the 11:50 was delayed, presumably due to that landfill train in P3 of SYB. It departed SYB at 12:01 and arrived at MAN at 12:14.
As a result we missed our advertised connection at MAN and had to travel on the next service, the 12:35 departure to EUS, as NRCoC says is permitted to do. After travelling on the Underground from EUS to VIC, the next available train was the 15:40 Orpington service, which arrived on time at BKJ at 1601 as advertised.
We were thus 30 minutes later than advertised - can I claim Delay Repay, and indeed how and who from? I've looked at the TPE form but I can't make sense of it, it only seems to work for single services.
