Loss of uranium prevents old detective from fully liaising with vermin.
I've tried Kojak (duh!), Magnum and Columbo (both dicks have a u (for uranium) in their names - all to no avail. As for vermin, I've tried rat(s), lice, louse, pest(s) and flea(s). And I'm still none the wiser after about fours hours! This is a tough one!!Clue time. The old detective was an American tv character.
