Merryton is not correct.

Think of a particular type of anti depressant, or a chemical that is used in anti depressants.

Then think of a word which means admirer

Put those two words together and "sort them out" (ie. make an anagram of them) and you get the answer.

The phrase in the clue "..a perfect place to retire to..." is a hint that the station in question is a town where a lot of people retire to.

I got as far as serotonin, but got stuck as the list of stations I work from only states Frinton. However, an anagram of Serotonin Fan is Frinton-on-Sea.
