Dumbarton East?.... (being an anagram of 'masturbated on')?

Dumbarton East must be this thread's very-top-favourite station, on account of this into which it anagrammatises. There's a hilarious August 2017 exchange on this theme -- pages 217 / 218 of the thread.

(About the sex-with-vicar conundrum -- I've no idea.)

GWR trains call there.

Extremely vague here: Maidenhead

Take out the 'me' as per 'not me' in your original clue leaves you with 'aidenhad', which can be an anagram of 'I had dean' with the dean being a cleric, of course.

Bedminster

Have sex with a vicar = Bed minister

Me = I

If you remove I from Bed minister, you get Bedminster

Just to come up with something, rather than thinking that the following, is right: Merryton?
Merryton is not correct.

Think of a particular type of anti depressant, or a chemical that is used in anti depressants.

Then think of a word which means admirer

Put those two words together and "sort them out" (ie. make an anagram of them) and you get the answer.

The phrase in the clue "..a perfect place to retire to..." is a hint that the station in question is a town where a lot of people retire to.

OK, time for another clue.

The anti-depressant I am thinking of is Serotonin.

I got as far as serotonin, but got stuck as the list of stations I work from only states Frinton. However, an anagram of Serotonin Fan is Frinton-on-Sea.

Frinton On Sea is the correct answer, being an anagram of Serotonin Fan.

The name of the station was officially changed from Frinton to Frinton On Sea in 2007, but many people still refer to it as Frinton
