Hint:

Operated by Southeastern.

In desperation -- not thinking I'm likely to be right: "This station (operated by SE) briefly produces noxious fumes."

I am -- defying usual aesthetic and etiquette-ish standards -- thinking farts (which by their nature, are usually brief). So -- Bexley. Fart produced outward from within the body: "ex". Surrounded by expressions of distaste from those exposed thereto: "Bley".

No, it's much more dangerous than a bottom burp although quieter and not as smelly.

I'd suggest Cannon Street -- except, "quieter than" a fart. I'm not doing very well here...

Just keeping the ball rolling -- two suggestions, reached by reasoning too tortuous and silly for me to willingly volunteer:

Dunton Green?

Whitstable?

Neither of those, the first letter is "H" which I think leaves just twelve possibilities.[/QUOTE

Have listed them: the "terminus of line which was closed" gives me Headcorn -- but I have otherwise, no idea why.

Headcorn (HCN) - Hydrogen cyanide formula HCN, your turn...

I don't feel that I deserve it; but there aren't many of us participating right now...

Pick the bones out of this one:

Char or tree, and devotional structure, in the service of the town of mustard and Moore

How about I am in Scotland, but you might also find me on the Brussels Metro, depending on what language you speak.

Doleham?

Open floor if correct.

Can someone explain the Troon answer for me please?

There is a station on the Brussels Metro called Trune with an accent I believe. Was seconds from posting but was beaten to it by DC.

Station forbidden to pandas, or a particular celebrated member of the species?
