Or Newark Castle! I'd forgotten there were two stations there when setting this.

Your go...

I'm relieved you said that as I was struggling to find "North Gate" or "Castle" in your original clue! :)

According to my calculations, 400 clues have now been successfully solved.

The next is:

Catcher is caught in super cover

Thinking further about this clue, it would have been better phrased as

Super cover catches catcher. The capital S is significant.

Another clue (the part in bold) for the same station (from Round The Horne)

"Hello, I'm Julian and this is my friend Sandy"
"Why, it's Mr 'Orne with a model"

Last chance to find the answer:

Find something to catch fish in a southern county

worked for me :oops::oops:
Big Jim = James
Little Adrian = wrestler (wrestlers affectionately get referred to as little) Adrian Street.

Oh Well -picks up bag for weekend and shuffles off to the station mumbling to himself, tears trickling from the corner of his eyes:)

I understand your thinking.

Unfortunately, until you mentioned him I had not heard of the wrestler in question. Therefore without a Tardis I couldn't have used him as a source for this clue.

Talking of which, Six Foot Two Eyes Are Blue, Inchy may be appropriate at this point.

About time I came up with another clue:

Looking for rock, jazz, trad?: Leyland town hall - find it there this week!
