I really do not understand how the clue leads to Exhibition Centre. "Centre" being derived from "exhib-ition" is clear enough, but I can't see how to derive "Exhibition" in the first place. What am I missing?

The gap between B and I is the gap between the fifth and sixth letters of the ten letter word "EXHIBITION", i.e. the centre of exhibition, or Exhibition Centre...

Yes I wrote that I could see where CENTRE was indicated, but I don't understand where the word EXHIBITION comes from - which part of the clue indicates it?
