Mine still shows “Under Review” and have applied to Leeds.Mines gone to pending to, also Newcastle. No idea if it’s good or bad news
About the 22ndWhen did everyone do their assessments?
None of us actually know haha. The only assumption is that if its pending then they are looking at it and to expect a response soonWhat is better to see under review or pending?
I think the whole point of a clean air charge is to keep vehicles out (I don’t necessarily agree with their implementation). I don’t work for CC, but I can’t imagine there’d be an “agreement“ in place that would allow certain commuters in for free and not others. On a slightly different subject. Does anyone know how the clean air charge works when your a driver for Birmingham New street? Seems abit rubbish to jave to pay everyday your at work. And of course can not rely on trains on the shift pattern
No there isn't. You need a Euro 6 diesel or a Euro 4 petrol. There are no exceptions for railway workersI think the whole point of a clean air charge is to keep vehicles out (I don’t necessarily agree with their implementation). I get it. just expensive if your working 5 days a week. And with paying twice for one shift sometimes. Have you checked your car to see if you will actually pay or not? As minilad said above if it's euro 6 diesel (2015 onwards)or 4 petrol (2005 onwards) you don't have to pay, you can check hereI get it. just expensive if your working 5 days a week. Something like that being exempt but a modern car having to pay is what makes the whole “clean air” scheme a comedy.![]()
