On a slightly different subject. Does anyone know how the clean air charge works when your a driver for Birmingham New street? Seems abit rubbish to jave to pay everyday your at work. And of course can not rely on trains on the shift pattern

I think the whole point of a clean air charge is to keep vehicles out (I don’t necessarily agree with their implementation). I don’t work for CC, but I can’t imagine there’d be an “agreement“ in place that would allow certain commuters in for free and not others.

No there isn't. You need a Euro 6 diesel or a Euro 4 petrol. There are no exceptions for railway workers

I get it. just expensive if your working 5 days a week. And with paying twice for one shift sometimes. Ahh well

Hi. I'm still pending from June 25. What comes first, pending or review? Anyone that applied for Bristol heard anything yet?

It’s under review that comes first, if my application status is anything to go by.

I done my personality & spatial ability tests last Thursday.

I've been doing a bit of digging in my boredom since it's pouring down outside. Disclaimer in that, please don't take any of this as fact and is just me speculating based on the careers website.

From what I can find, those whose status have changed to 'Pending' - This can either mean you have moved to the next automated step in their system, so presumably they are reviewing test results and sifting these. So for Newcastle folks who have moved, they have basically started processing that batch of applicants. It doesn't mean you have passed or failed, just simply that the system is doing something with that candidate.

Those of us still 'Under Review' - they haven't looked at these yet or started the sift process.
