I’m in for Newcastle myself, not sure how many others will be
Has that updated today?I'm out, "End of Process". Went for Cambridge and probably am too far away to be fair to them. Still got my hat in the ring elsewhere, so not too disappointed. DB just don't like me, haha...
Not sure, but certainly has been updated from the last time I checked, which would have been earlier in the week, I think.Has that updated today?
I would have, in a parallel universe, also commuted that way to get to a job at ARM, so, yeah. *shrugs shoulders*I went for Cambridge and mines on application in process which surprises me as I live 30 minutes over the hour to get there
Sounds like when Virgin lost XC in 07. There was a mass exodus to VWC & personally couldn’t blame them.
Good position to be in for a potential XC train driverI've applied and said I'd relocate for Derby, Leeds or Bristol (I am at a flux time in my life and no family to hold me down). I am still application in process.
yeah im for bristol i assume they just work that out by the post code and nearest station.I don't recall having to put which depot I would be going for, however on my application it says Leicester for some reason. I would be going for Newcastle. anybody else noticed this ?

According to mine i have 3 applications in for Trainee driver in Barking but all at different locations across the country??...!
A colleague of mine applied this time last year and starts next week, so it can take a while but once the ball starts rolling with assessment days etc it can move quickly and then maybe a long wait after until start dateI wonder when we will here back from them? Does anyone have any previous experience of how quick things progress?
Many Thanks
Do you know roughly how long it takes to hear back about initial sift?A colleague of mine applied this time last year and starts next week, so it can take a while but once the ball starts rolling with assessment days etc it can move quickly and then maybe a long wait after until start date
Well the email said 2-4 weeks, can't see it being any more than that reallyDo you know roughly how long it takes to hear back about initial sift?
I applied in Feb 2021 and got the same email.... I'm still waiting for a further response and I'm still 'application in process' on the websiteWell the email said 2-4 weeks, can't see it being any more than that really
