Crewe Station Pub

The British Lion used to be okay for a swift ale between trains, going back a few year ago.

I dropped in two weeks ago, good value and quite friendly, certainly worth the 5 mins walk to avoid the station’s pub, which is double the price, closes at 7 and is the customer service what a pacer is to intercity comfort….

I walked past that a few months back not knowing about the 37 cab, one of those double take "What the......" moments!! Is it known by anyone which 37 it's from? Tried googling before but found nothing.

It's a great pub, inside and out. Loads of railwayana.
